    • Based on fiscal year
    • Many different versions possible (prior years, actual, budget 1, budget 2, etc.)

    • Qualifier:  further categorization of classifiers
    • 12 Months or 13 Periods of data

  • Contains Titles for Entities, Cost Centers, Accounts, and Classifiers
  • Contains Groupings of Cost Centers into Department and Division Structures (Group 1 and Group 2)
  • Edited with Own Chart of Accounts Editor
  • Text File Import to Build/Update

Classifier Control Table
  • Always Named with the Extension *.CLA
  • Maps accounts by data type into User-defined Classifiers and HBOC Defined Qualifiers
    • Classifiers are three character or digit codes assigned to one or more account numbers (INP, OUT, SAL, FEE)
    • Qualifiers are a one character code assigned to classifiers (O, N, D)
  • Maps User-defined Classifiers into Standards
  • Edited with Own Classifier Table Editor

HSLedger Mapping Table
  • Maps Entity G/L, Statistical, or Payroll Account into HSL Account Structure
    • Mapping rules defined by data type
    • Cost center and account definitions by general rule
    • Processes input G/L, Statistical, or Payroll file and outputs an HSL Transaction Table (*.TRH) used to create or update an HSL database
